Qualified as a Solicitor in March 1985.
Appointed a Commissioner for Oaths in 1991.
Established own practice 1994 and moved to newly built East Douglas Village office premises in 2001.
An Accredited Mediator having completed the FriaryLaw/ADR programme in April 2010 and is a member of the Mediators Institute of Ireland.
Awarded a Diploma in Insolvency and Corporate Restructuring by the Law Society of Ireland in November 2012.
Declan was awarded a Diploma in Trust and Estate Planning by the Law Society/Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners in November 2014. Awarded a Certificate in Decision Making Capacity by the Law Society of Ireland in July 2016. He is a Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
